John Deere Electronic Solutions is committed to using reasonable efforts to preserve the privacy of users of the Agile PLM web site (“Web Site”).  This Privacy Policy describes our policy regarding information that we collect from you.   The amount and type of information we collect depends upon how you use the Web Site.   

COLLECTION OF WEB SITE USE INFORMATION

During your use of the Web Site, we may collect information about you and your company, including, but not limited to, your Internet service provider, browser type, domain name, IP address, the website that referred you to us, the web pages you request, the date and time of those requests and entry and exit points, (“Session Information”). 

We retain Session Information and use it to establish site activity trends, monitor site performance, improve site design and functionality, and other business purposes.   Our collection of Session Information may include the use of cookies, which are small data files that enable a web server to identify users that visit a particular site and to manage secured sessions on the Web Site.  We reserve the right to collect session information through the use of cookies temporarily stored on your computer.  You may need to configure your web browser to permit our use of cookies.   Any cookies we use will be deleted, destroyed or otherwise disabled after each user session or after a reasonable time interval, and no personal or unencrypted secure information will be encoded in cookies that are stored on your computer.

We only collect personally identifiable information if you voluntarily provide it to us.  To use the Web Site, you are required to register.   As part of the Web Site registration process, we may collect personally identifiable information about you, including your name, title, department, company affiliation, username, password, contact information (including e-mail address) and certain other information regarding you and your company (“Individual Information”).  We will use Individual Information to evaluate your eligibility to use the Web Site and to facilitate the services offered as part of the Web Site.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information we collect or receive about your company, except as expressly stated in this Policy.  We may update, revise or modify this Privacy Policy at any time.   All such updates, revisions or modifications will be effective when posted on the Web Site, and will only apply to data collected after the date posted.
